LICENSED CLINICIANS

​​​​​​Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Specialists provide one on one rehabilitative mental health interventions designed to reduce cognitive and behavioral impairments and restore clients to their highest level of functioning. PSR services help clients acquire constructive cognitive and behavioral skills through positive reinforcement, modeling, operant conditioning, and other training techniques. PSR specialists teach skill building to kids, youth, and adults in the following areas:


  • behavior management

  • social competency

  • problem identification and resolution

  • effective communication

  • moral reasoning

  • identity and emotional intimacy

  • establishing realistic life goals                                                                                                                                             ​ 

This service may take place in the home and/or community settings. 

PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION SPECIALISTS

Basic Skills Training (BST) Services are rehabilitative mental health interventions designed to restore clients to their highest level of functioning. BST services help clients acquire constructive cognitive and behavioral skills through positive reinforcement, modeling, operant conditioning, and other training techniques. BST services teach clients a variety of life skills, and may include basic living and self-care skills, social skills, communication skills, parental training, organizational and time management skills, and transitional living skills.

 This service may take place in the home and/or community settings.

Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) are relationship specialists who treat persons involved in interpersonal relationships. They are trained to assess, diagnose and treat individuals, couples, families and groups to achieve more adequate, satisfying and productive marriage, family and social adjustment.
